Hearts Two Hands (H-2-H)
Our Motto: What we make with our two hands comes from our hearts.
H-2-H began in the spring of 2003 making baby quilts to help Toni
Floyd with her delivery of quilts for a program benefiting kids at-risk.
When that program closed, in 2006, she started Quilts for at-risk Kids to
continue deliveries to children in need on the Range. Toni has delivered
over 1000 quilts since 1998.
H-2-H helped prepare 90 yards of fabric for the Duluth Quilt Show,
where 40 at-risk quilts were completed; assisted with 35 quilts for
Hurricane Katrina victims; and helped fill many special requests over
the years. H-2-H was a major contributor in making pillowcases last
September for ConKerr Cancer Kids. Presently, they are working on
making men’s quilts for an Alzheimer's Study. This group is funded
by community donations, an example of how people in EUMC come
together for the benefit of others.
This is a wonderful group of dedicated women who have helped fill the
needs of many. For more information contact Toni Floyd at 365-7420.
